There is a layby to park in.Walk 50 yds towards Castallack,there is a gate on the left and the stone is about 20yds into the field. A fine stone 4ft high with a very regular line of 7 “cup” markings on the lower half.
Castallack menhir
SW454255 – Stands in a field close to the minor road from Castallack to Sheffield. This 1.55m tall menhir is apparently notable for a line of 7 cupmarks, with 2 more below that. Not marked on the OS map.
