The well viewed from the west, at the base of the outcrop.
Trencrom Well.
Not to be confused with the Giant’s Well, this lies to the NW of the hill fort and is reached by a narrow path through a rock outcrop.
This is a striking well, consisting of a square hole cut into the base of an enormous granite outcrop. I can’t even imagine how this was constructed! The water is lovely and clear.
