To be fair, this eastern-most monument is more alike the possible cairns noted upon Deans Moor (below to the approx north-west) than those at the summit of the hill.

Although hollow, the eastern-most cairn is pretty substantial.

Gripper's Hill, Dartmoor... calm after the storm

This is the vista from the large monument to the approx north-east of the summit pair of cairns. Worth riding out a morning storm to enjoy the moment.

Gripper’s Hill

There is a resemblence to the cairns of Harbourne Head. I think that they are connected to all the other cairns around here. On the summit there are 2 cairns about 45m apart with a 3rd one about 400m to the East.
Of the summit cairns the South-Eastern one measures about 10m, the other about 17m.
