Miscellaneous Yearns Low Round Barrow(s) Rhiannon Jun 11, 2004 Yearns Low barrow sits on a ridge – this lovely picture by Jane Osmond gives an impression of its place in the landscape: artist-studio.co.uk/jane_osmond/fewremaining/Yearnslowandpenninefarm.jpg According to MAGIC it is unusual in that the mound was reused for burials in the Roman period. It’s also fairly unusual in that two drystone walls cross over it!
