16/03/2012 - Good parking in Lamington at NS 97833091. We walked along road to Baitlaws then took track west to Lamington Hill. After a visit to the summit with it's single earthen bank enclosure we had a look at the two cairns situated on the west ridge of the hill. Cairn 1 is at NS 9929 3041. Cairn 2 is at NS 9942 3043. Cairn 1 is 10m in diameter and the pick of the two. Great view of Tinto from here. Very wet day. thelonious Posted by thelonious
