Looking east toward Castle Farm-way. Yeah, medieval-heads will be interested to know there’s a nicely enigmatic tower nearby. As well as a number of (presumably prehistoric) enclosures upon the rising ground to the north leading – eventually – to the utterly wondrous Arbory Hill.

From the approx north-west. Contrary to the implication, the wooden pole doesn’t actually violate the monument. Small mercies......

Looking approx west... this remains a substantial cairn, despite losing a third of itself to the minor road bordered by the fence to the left.
