In retrospect the electrical charge seeming to hang in the air might have owed something to the fence.... I guessed as much, but then forgot and got ‘reminded’.

Looking toward Gallow Hill.... the larger of the two long cairns is clearly visible, even at this distance.

The chambered cairn crowning Sordale Hill has clearly not been respected by successive landowners, having been bisected by an OTT fence line. Nethertheless the remains of kerb was heartening.
