Despite having a water tank plonked upon its flank the southern barrow is, by contrast, nevertheless a fine monument.

But what a viewpoint.... looking approx west toward the distant Elanydd. The medieval earthwork Castell Crugerydd occupies the hill centre right.

‘You Couldn’t Make it Up – Part.... jeez, I’ve lost count’. The northern barrow is bisected by a fence line and, worse, impaled by a pylon. Who the hell sanctioned this?
