Travelling south from Banff on the A97 turn off at the Alvah signpost. Stay on this road for the next 2 miles following the River Deveron south. Go past North and South Sandlaw farms stopping at South Sandlaw cottage. The cairn is directly behind the house beside the small wood.

Nothing much remains as the cairn has been heavily robbed to make dry stane dykes. Only one large stone and a small pile of stones, possibly field clearance, indicate the cairns existance. Shame as this site has nice views of the Deveron and the Hill Of Alvah.

Visted 20/07/09.
