Quite mad - you're not wrong there. Yep, it's a glacial erratic that just happened to land on three little stones. A local told me it was from Rum across the water and this type of rock wasn't found on Coll. thelonious Posted by thelonious

The stone is one to see.

I know it's been mentioned elsewhere before but the ferry prices to and round the isles are dirt cheap. We were about £3 from Tiree to Coll and just over £9 each from Coll to Barra. Even flights are not that bad to Tiree or Barra (beach landing pop!). Thought I'd mention in case anyone is swithering about going sometime.
