Wow. Drew's lego broch link might win most complete broch of the day but yours definitely wins best broch location of the day. Really like the look of this one Les, it's going straight on my 'to see' list.

Incidentally I'm just working my way through 'Towers of the North' at the moment. Good book so far, increasing my knowledge of atlantic roundhouses from close to zero to a little more, which can only be a good thing. Brochs are just great.

Towers of the North is excellent.
Baile Mhargaite is just one element of an Iron Age community. Below, at the edge of the flood plain, is a cluster of hut circles and cists. That's for another day as it has been very wet here today.
