Thank you both. It was nice in the snow higher up, much better than lower down where it had turned to rain. tjj - We took the bus out to it and as we always seem to do, me and Mrs T got chatting to each other about bus rides to stones we'd taken. We both agreed the old 49 to you know where is still our favourite :-) Evergreen Dazed - I've never been to Uffington or Wayland Smithy nearby. Would love to one day.
