Moel Eilio, Y Carneddau (Ancient Village / Settlement / Misc. Earthwork) by GLADMAN Looking from a very, very windy Moel Eilio ..... the settlement is by the prominent, isolated trees upon the floor of the cwm (lower centre) ... a sure sign that its former inhabitants knew what they were doing choosing a sheltered spot. The high peaks of Y Carneddau form the impressive backdrop, Carnedd Llewelyn prominent.
