I have lived smack in the middle of this for over a decade and I am still trying to come to grips with the sheer quantity of hillforts, settlements, cairns, cremation cemeteries and stones within an area around 5 X 8 miles centred on the Kilbucho/ Drumelzier area (roughly the Clyde/ Tweed watershed).
