Yep, definitely worth a look. The ramparts aren't the best, but the natural defences are very fine. I came face to face with a group of fallow deer on the SW slopes as well.

At some point I'd like to get up onto the ridges to the east, there are various cairns up there. Our walk went downhill - literally - after here, the shit-strewn alleyways of Port Talbot being the most depressing place I've ever been to.

There are at least 3 more enclosures-cum-hillforts swinging north-east... took the Mam C up to two of them last year, as I recall. Quite a bit going on. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
