I'll hurry on with my notes if you intend to go shortly since these were a major pain to find... surrounded in high reed. Didn't find the map much use since there seemed to be many unmarked tracks. However you pass the wondrous Melincourt waterfalls en-route, so well worth the effort.

I was attracted by the 'trio' of cairns shown on the map after visiting a trio near Elan, but could only locate two. Can't exactly argue with an exposed cist, though.

I would also like to revisit Carn Llechart area again, when there's some visibility (i.e. without the hillfog) and it's not pouring with rain. There seems to be a huge amount of little-visited stuff in the hills all round Neath. I added Carn Caca ages ago with a view to going the next day, then went somewhere else instead. :-) thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
