The groove was made by the horse (Bayard) who was carrying the four sons of Aymon when he jumped from here to the village of Durbuy some 2 miles away

Beautiful day when the trees the grass and the hunbedden all appeared to merge into one
This large hunbedden was sparkling today with the sun finding its way through the trees and reflecting off the stones
This destroyed hunbed is also known as Pottiesbargien due to the large quantities of pottery discovered when the site was excavated
A very pleasant walk through the wood leads to this site, very fortunate with a perfect sunny day
Although I have been fortunate to visit D52 before I hadn’t been aware there was a destroyed one close by, so happy to rectify that on this trip
Looking out across the great pit is like a scene from a sci fi film
These mines have been worked since the early Bronze age and many repeated attempts to extract copper right up to the present day
Amazing colours from the copper and other minerals contained within the rock and soil
Once again stretching out in front of you taking your breath away in awe, love this place
Great walk there and back from Norsworthy Bridge, up and over Down Tor
Well, I followed advice and went past the refuge and then back on myself to the corner of the field, jumped the stream and found Yellowmead with dry feet
Such an interesting circle, trying to work out exactly is going on here
A secondary row, the site is best appreciated by following an aerial photo to understand the full glory of what is going on here
The whole magnificent complex covering the hill side, stone rows, cairns, pounds, you need a lot of time to explore this site, truly remarkable place

Stone row leading its way to this most interesting circle just North of Brisworthy
Rather taken by surprise at the size of this circle and the wonderful atmosphere despite being relatively close to civilisation, a place to linger
There is a small plantation to the west of Brisworthy with a rather deeply rutted car park (need good ground clearance or 4x4), easy to find from here
These are the ‘Giants’ of Kerzerho just up a short footpath from the alignment. A true sense of awe
