A great site, as you say in your field notes it is spectacular the way the circle and stone row suddenly unfolds in front of you. I nearly didn't go, after Bosworthy, Drizzlecombe and Yellowmead I thought I would call it quits for the day, however, something nagged at me to pay a visit and I am so glad I did, unfortunately I do not know how to use my camera and I have somehow managed to make Dartmoor look like a desert, having said that it was a very good day to be out on the moor.
I really like your pictures, it's quite unusual (well, it is for me) to get Dartmoor so rain-free. My trips to this part of the moor always seemed to be a mix of rain and sunshine!
Such a great site, looks like you've had it nice and dry underfoot! Loving these Dartmoor photos, another place I've neglected recently.
