Possibly the most boring image upon this whole web-site? Just so happens, though, that the pallets lie upon the remains of a Bronze Age barrow. Quality farmer..........

Copley Hill
Round Barrow(s)

If you’re at Wandlebury you might want to walk out to the nearby Copley Hill – anyone looking at it on map would think it was another Silbury, but actually it’s a round barrow built on top of a natural chalk knoll.

Another part of the prehistoric landscape here has now disappeared – there was a Neolithic longbarrow in the next field to the south of Copley Hill.
