The cairn appeared to be associated with an adjacent circular enclosure. The thought occured perhaps similar to the arrangement upon Allt-llwyd at SH6145807631? Perhaps.

Judging by the odd erect stone within the turf the locals were definitely up to something in times past.

Think I’ve got this right.... but there are so many enclosures/round houses and what-not upon these slopes that I’m happy to be corrected.

Cae’r Mynach
Cairn(s)

Grassy cairn below and to the approx south-west of much more upstanding cairns gracing Allt-Lwyd, outlier of Idris’s domain. The monument is passed by visitors approaching the hill from the terminus of the minor road at Cae’r Mynach.

Unfortunately Coflein currently has no detail aside from assigning a Bronze Age ancestry.
