This circle is far better known as Bowman Hillock. I could find ten stones, maybe there are more, in amongst the boggy ground and fallen trees.

Leave Huntly and take the A920 towards Dufftown. Take the road to Edinglassie signposted just before the River Deveron, after 1/4 mile turn south and stop at the first farm entrance. This is Bowman Hillock. The circle is in the field opposite only a few metres from the road. Best to go when its dry.

Four stones remain, overgrown in a boggy area. Others are laying within the circle. Chris Posted by Chris
