Luath's Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir) by thelonious 07/01/2023 - Walk to Cairn William. We started from the south today. Meant we could visit Whitehills recumbent stone circle and also the wonderful Luath's Stone. Cloudy to start with but a bit of sunshine in the afternoon. Mild for this time of year. I love this big lonely stone.

I love its curve. When you stand in it and look up, so close to the stone, it seems to envelop you. Plus top lichen on top! Who doesn't love a stone with a good bit of lichen. thelonious Posted by thelonious
