We seem to find more but know less every year. No sooner do ideas begin to formulate then it changes yet again!

maybe Stonehenge was the Thornborough of the south ;)

So what's your other henge though? I thought the posts under the car park were just posts, not a circle. Is that misreporting again on the link or am I misunderstanding?

And where's this new one been found?

And considering the links with the Orkney circles it lends credence to there having been three at Brodgar too [suggested for the Watch Stone area - then again there's the mysterious Ring of Bookan as rank outsider]
