Silsbury pill

Geophysics has revealed that thiis is not a chambered cairn but more like Silbury Hill, as with a site at Dunragit in Dumfries and Galloway, the BA cist and animal bones from ?feasting towards the top being later additions http://www.orkneyjar.com/archaeology/saltknowe.htm

The 'site at Dunragit' is Droughduil artificial mound, pictures of which I recently added to TMA D&G (yes, I a m getting round to fieldnotes, OK?). I wonder how many more of these 'other Silbury's' there are in the UK, and how many have yet to be recognised as such...and should this site be reclassified as an artificial mound too? spencer Posted by spencer
