That is quintessential Dartmoor, that. Nice. My map reckons I followed the ridge to Oke Tor almost 18 years ago now. 18 years... bloody hell.

Can't recall what the Higher Tor cairn looks like now but see you've added it. Nice (again).

Thank you, it's somewhere I've wanted to come for years so it was great to finally get here and the brief sunshine was very welcome.

I only had a short day by the time I got here, so just a quick walk up the valley from Okehampton (round the base of the East Hill fort that you went to), Nine Stones, Cullever Steps, Higher Tor cairn then along the spine of Belstone Tor before coming back here as it was getting dark then dropping to Sticklepath to get the bus.
