Harford Moor

Cist

Harford Moor (Cist) by GLADMAN Looking across to Burford Down, the left hand section of which possesses a pretty good stone row and cairn-circle/cairn-and-cist. PLEASE NOTE: the River Erme bars the way below and will need to be forded... I wasn't aware of any foot bridges.

That's in a lovely location, looks like the valleys are as much a focal point as the hills above. Very atmospheric day for a visit (i.e. wet). thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

That's a settlement over to the right in the green bit. Very wet indeed and needed a bearing at Kristis Rock to get back to Harford Gate due to mist. But there you are. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

Fair play for getting out in it. That area along the Erme is chock full of stuff, I'd forgotten how good it is round there. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
