Pendle Hill

Sacred Hill

'Witch's cottage' unearthed near Pendle Hill, Lancashire

Not a prehistoric find here but a rare find of use this site into the 17th century.

I think lots of houses had dead cats in them to be honest. No really. (there's a great one on show in the museum in Kendal). If anyone wants to see something half decent about the so-called Pendle witches then I reckon you can't beat Simon Armitage's programme

Yeah! I posted this elsewhere. Seems to be SOME kind fo crossover in interests, even though, as you say, it isn't of the TMA timeline... Very interesting tho. And yes - that Simon Armitage programme was EXCELLENT!!! He's a great presenter. I understand he's been busy around Ilkley recently... Lots of cool music too. ;)
