Esgair Gwar-y-Cae Settlement

Ancient Village / Settlement / Misc. Earthwork

Esgair Gwar-y-Cae Settlement (Ancient Village / Settlement / Misc. Earthwork) by GLADMAN Temperature inversion fills the Caban-coch Reservoir, looking from Waun Lwyd towards Esgair Gwar-y-Cae, approx centre of image (unless my ancient 'antennae' are on the blink). Just goes to show you never really know what's under your very nose, do you? There are apparently several round cairns in frame, too, not to mention Rhos-y-Gelynnen rising far top left of image, complete with a rather good stone row. Hell, I love this area!
