Just behind the church of St.Laurence in Morden ,Surrey, (I was christned there) is a mound variously described as prehistoric/Roman/Motte/garden feature. As a kid I remember me and my mates having great fun cycling up and down it. Dragging bits from my memory I seem to recall it had a flattish top, a berm about half way down and a ditch. I rember the last because on our bikes we would take off!
