


All 5 stones of the Worsthorne Hill circle may be seen in this picture.

Possible hollow way running southward from the centre of the circle. Stone ii is visible on the left.

View of the ditch sloping SW towards the gate in the wall. The ditch partially encircles the stone circle, and is most readily visible here, to the NW of the stone circle itself. Stone iii is visible at the extreme top left of the image, and just to the right of that is stone iv.

Two socket holes appear at centre image and immediately below centre image. Upper centre is stone i. These socket holes are at the northern end of the monument and clearly held substantial stones in the past.


Morecambe Bay is visible above this stone, with Leighton Hall to the right in the mid-distance. There appear to be some linear carvings on the stone itself. This stone is not part of the circle, but is the outlier to the west of the wall.
