Looking west. There are two further cliff forts in this stretch of coast, but both are hidden behind Mewsford Point.
The inner bank, the highest of the three.
This alarming hole, open to the sea below, is inside the camp itself. Even more alarming when you realise that the whole site is supported by an arch rather than a solid cliff.
Middle rampart.
The ditches have been scooped out of the rock of the headland, with the resulting upcast stone used to form the banks.
