The remains of the cairn, looking ENE. Stapeley Hill can be seen on the left, the Stiperstones ridge to the right of centre on the skyline. Both hills have their own Bronze Age cairns.

Mitchell’s Fold cairn

Visited 8.4.2011. The scanty remains of a small cairn, just NE of the Mitchell’s Fold outlier stone and within sight of the circle. A few stones in the central depression of a low mound are all there is to see, but worth popping in to say hello when visiting the circle, naturally.
