Wallis Grange Long Barrow View all content for Wallis Grange

This is the only 'securely identified oval barrow' in Humberside according to EH but I've seen very similar long barrows elsewhere . In the scheduling of 1995 they give its height as 1.75 metres but it didn't look much over a metre to me while the 52m east-west and 30m north-south looked about right. The mound is on private land with notices of a bull in the field, although I didn't see one.
