Catshole Tor Cairn

Cairn(s)

Catshole Tor Cairn (Cairn(s)) by thesweetcheat Looking across the very low remains of the western cairn (the eastern cairn mentioned by pure joy is in fact the "Quoit"). All that appears to remain is a kerb, various stones of which can be seen in an arc in the foreground, and a slightly dished interior. It's unclear if there was originally a larger mound or whether it was always in the nature of a ring or platform cairn.
