Pen-y-Gorllwyn Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir) by GLADMAN Now lying a short distance to the South-west of Gorllwyn's South-western cairn, this substantial formerly standing stone - as evidenced by packing stones still in situ - must have formed one of the most mind-blowing monuments of its type in all Wales. Incredible position.

I was in Cwm Chwefri the day before and Gorllwyn sort of called to me... by the way Cerrig, finally managed to locate the Bryn y Gorlan circle. Classic, too. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN

It's quite a while since I was there. As I remember it was almost lost amongst the tufty grass, but with an extensive view. Not easy to find so well done. Posted by cerrig
