I was looking at these just yesteday on archaeology.ie. What a coincidence you posting photos! Spooky.
I'm staying a five minute walk away from them.
I'm finally getting over to Ireland next week. This site and the hill beyond is a plan for maybe Sunday weather permitting. Small world! Good to know the track looks OK :-)
The passage tomb on Slieve Dargan is a serious challenge. The track skirts around it midway up at the south but the remaining ascent is very challenging. Bring your best bog traversing footwear. Seems very worth it however megalithomania.com/show/site/2058/slieve_dargan_passage_tomb.htm
When I look at Tom FourWinds bloody wonderful site I wonder and worry, as I do about TMA, what will happen to it one day. An invaluable resource.
