Thank you tsc, I did read Spencer's very good and descriptive field notes just now - a little puzzled as to why it is called Torhousekie and just Torhouse. Am sure the answer is obvious.
Visited Torhouskie only last week after a gap of 10 years. Lovely "pristine" circle compared to the majority of sites around Galloway. Taking a small group to Torhouse and Dumtrodden shortly prior to a visit to the Black Loch excavation.
