Wonderful, that's a great sky. I remember Spencer posted some pictures from here a while ago, looks like a really good circle. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Thank you tsc, I did read Spencer's very good and descriptive field notes just now - a little puzzled as to why it is called Torhousekie and just Torhouse. Am sure the answer is obvious. tjj Posted by tjj

God, just realised how long ago Spencer's photos were. Where is the time going? thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

It really is a nice circle. I love the shape of the stones. thelonious Posted by thelonious

Visited Torhouskie only last week after a gap of 10 years. Lovely "pristine" circle compared to the majority of sites around Galloway. Taking a small group to Torhouse and Dumtrodden shortly prior to a visit to the Black Loch excavation. Posted by tomatoman

Yup SC ...where is the time going? And I've got pix from DnG to upload that are up to three years old now, entrapped on my old mobile. Must get to grips with e-tech. Tomatoman, epitomy of pristine is Rispain, looking like dug yesterday... but I think you'll like my Drummore Castle pix from last month when I get round to uploading. spencer Posted by spencer
