In the northwest of Großenrode you can visit a reconstruction of Großenrode I. To get to the reconstruction, drive from Großenrode on the K425 towards Moringen. About 350m after you leave the village there is a small parking lot on the right side of the road next to a sign ("Totenhütte"). Visited April 2019
