It's reasonably clear at the moment, and there is a little path from the woods to the SSE so no-one has to try Carl's routes :)

Costa, don't know. The egg-shaped boulder stones remind me of several of the circles around Inverness, it's a fine circle whatever the significance. If you've not been to Arran though, it should be a priority.
