Have you ever arranged a private appt with your local museum for a look at stuff from the area? If not, you should!
I did so a while back and got to hold a beaker from an excavated barrow in a nearby village. I can't explain how it felt to be holding something like that. Had to wear gloves, obviously, but it was still an experience i'll never forget.
Being able to hold some of the Neo axes was great too.
Worth doing!
