It's not quite the same thing, of course, but whoever did it is cousin to the people who blow up innocents on a bus as a means of airing their political grievances.

Abuse of our heritage (and that includes abuse through neglect and bad policy) is just another way of advancing personal and political objectives and sadly, in the long term, it's our heritage that looses out.
