I don't often get stirred to make a contribution to this Forum but very much enjoy reading it and learning from its many well-informed contributors.

However, I have to add my voice to Rhiannon's in my complete bafflement as why this group of people would choose a (very) sacred site such as Glastonbury Tor to publicise their cause. If they did something similar outside a government building, their bravado could be admired - you can't even call it mindless, it is just contemptable.

The National Trust is at times derided for their profit making strategies around some of our most loved sites but this at least gives an insight into the care-taking role they fulfil and, in scenarios like this, what a thankless task that role can be.
