You heard Stan talk about it too Rocknicker, I know you did, you were sitting next to me. Didn't he speak about how the lighting had to be 'just so'?
But maybe it's one of those carvings that hides if it knows someone's coming. It's not the correct lighting that's needed, you just have to sneak up on it.
