OK, so listened again and it rocks!

The first few Heads album do have their derivative moments (i.e., spot the riff, usually a Floyd or Sabbs one)but I do enjoy their more song oriented output.

If you wanna check out a couple of brutal releases by Heads listen to 'Under The Stress Of A Headlong Dive' and 'At Last'. If listened from beginning to end, both can be heavy going if your not in the right frame of mind.

Thumbs up for 'Under Sided' too. First album I bought by them after they blew AMT away live (spliff riff was insane that night)

I've been listening to the deluxe box this week, and I'm loving it. Had only heard the album from the cassette put out last year, and the vinyl blows it away immensely. Full-on Heads sound. I have several other of their records/cdrs, but missed out on some of the early ones (which now cost a fortune). I'm looking forward to eventual reissues of Undersided and At Last. This box is a thing of beauty. Also got the new Anthroprophh, and it's tasty.
