Been listening lots to the three Kikagaku Moyo releases: s/t, Forest of Lost Children & Mammatus Clouds. Really enjoyable - they can do pastoral, psych, kosmiche (Mammatus Clouds), they understand space in music, great dynamics, catchy tunes too... and they're on tour in the UK in mid-October.

Goat - Commune. V good...fantastic set at the Roundhouse too
The Heads - Everybody Knows We Got Nowhere. Wasn't so impressed on first listen, but it didn't have my full attention and it's a mammoth album so will reserve judgement...

Holy Sons - The Fact Facer. Another fine solo effort from Emil Amos.

Anthroproph - Outside the Circle. V inventive record...

Machinefabriek - Stillness Soundtracks... music from a film on Greenland and Antarctic icesheets (art film rather than a scientific documentary). Released on the excellent Glacial Movements label - a label dedicated to electronic music inspired by glaciers and ice etc!

Alice Coltrane - Journey in Satchidananda

"Holy Sons - The Fact Facer. Another fine solo effort from Emil Amos."

Bloody hell, when did that come out? He's prolific this year, must be the 3rd Holy Sons release (not that I'm counting or anything).
Maybe he's got a tax bill to meet ;)
