Good to see a site exposed after 50 years. The trees won't be allowed within 50m* of the cairns now.

I know where to go for a quick afternoon trip now if I need one.

There's an easy track leading up from Kilranelagh cemetery (the cemetery has been cleaned up, exposing St. Bridget's Holy Well, which you might want to check). If you're heading over from Boleycarrigeen, check on the ogham stone. I had a short look for it but the forest has been cut down and I couldn't get my bearings. I had a slight suspicion that it may just have been cast aside.
