That is the thing they do look a bit uniform alright. As far as I know its farm land but it may be some factory form of farming (just a theory).
Im not sure what you would keep in pins like them, I presume most factory farming would be inside in sheds etc.

how do you know when a bump is a barrow (without excavating it to death)?
