Dump your mobiles , and try and reduce those bloody (mobile phone)masts, that are now spreading (or should one say thickening)across the countryside (I'm in France but it's the same problem in the UK). Mobile phones must be the biggest con trick since Henry VIII. I've got one but I keep on slamming it hard down on tables in anger hoping it will break....

My mate is nearly 70 years old and has been profoundly deaf since the age of six. His mobile phone has opened a new world to him as anyone can now text him. I think that mobile phones are superb, and the masts, just like telephone poles, electricity pylons and factory chimneys, will eventually become an accepted part of the British landscape
You don't have to bang them on the table, most are fitted with an 'off' button.

Can't be that bad, otherwise you'd just sling it in the bin!

I find them intrusive, but I do like my phone - very useful. People just forget they're there for their own convenience - NOT everyone else's!
