So Bernard Cornwell was right...except for the shape of the buildings...square houses?

Whatever next!?

I am amazed at the naivety and lack of foresight employed by some of the archaeo-anthropologists. They have stood scratching their heads wondering where the navvies lived while they were chipping and grinding at sarsen all day long, with a small housing estate obviously placed on the other side of the valley. Bet your life if the bank and ditch had been as visible as Avebury they'd have scraped off the top years ago.

Rectangular seems to have been the favoured shape in the Neolithic .
