I am amazed at the naivety and lack of foresight employed by some of the archaeo-anthropologists. They have stood scratching their heads wondering where the navvies lived while they were chipping and grinding at sarsen all day long, with a small housing estate obviously placed on the other side of the valley. Bet your life if the bank and ditch had been as visible as Avebury they'd have scraped off the top years ago.

I visited the excavations at Woodhenge and Durrington Walls. I took a video of my visit. You'll have to excuse my whitterings on the video.
